घोसी उपचुनाव जीतने के बाद शिवपाल यादव ने खोले कई राज़, कहा,’पार्टी ने मुझे घोसी में बड़ी जिम्मेदारी थी, जनता में पहले से ही सुधाकर को लेकर उत्साह था, वह संघर्षील था। जब चुनाव शुरू हुआ वहां पर सत्ता पक्ष का दबाव था प्रशासन और जनता दोनो पर ही। हमने सबके साथ मीटिंग की, मैं डीएम एसएसपी से मिला, इस तरह प्रेशर कम करने का काम किया। जनता का मनोबल इससे बढ़ा, तभी जनता ने वोट सपा को दिया’
